Facial Aesthetics

Your smile has a big impact on your appearance and how you feel about yourself, but so too do other aspects of your face. As dentists we have a unique understanding of facial structure and, wanting to provide a holistic range of services to help you look and feel your best, we have introduced facial aesthetics services for our clients.

Our professionally qualified, in-house aesthetician offers minimally invasive, non-surgical procedures including Botox and filler to temporarily diminish the appearance of wrinkles and restore volume to the skin across the forehead, cheeks and lips delivering a fresh, natural, revitalised appearance.

Botox

Used to reduce lines and wrinkles, Botox injections are a popular, non-surgical treatment for giving you a fresh, youthful appearance. Our experienced professionals are highly trained, understanding the facial anatomy, its structure, nerves and muscles. They can work with you to decide on the best course of treatment for fresh, natural results.

Filler

Typically administered around the eyes, mouth, cheeks, chin and jawline, fillers can be used to improve the appearance of lines and reinvigorate facial features. Working with our advanced knowledge of the face and its musculature, our specialist practitioners work with you to achieve the desired results in the way that best suits you.

What you need to know

Are aesthetics treatments painful?

Treatments are relatively painless but can result in a little short-term discomfort while being administered. If necessary, this can be managed with topical numbing agents

Will I be sore after my treatment?

It is possible you will experience a little bruising or swelling for a few days after your treatment, although this varies from one person to the next. However, we will give you pre- and post treatment recommendations to reduce swelling, which is usually subtle and clears up very quickly.

How long will my treatment results last?

Fillers can take a couple of weeks to take their full effect and the results can last between three months and two years. Generally Botox lasts three to four months, although for some it lasts a little longer.

Will people be able to tell I’ve had treatment?

Our approach to facial aesthetics is to create a natural looking appearance. However, whether people can tell is ultimately up to you. Our expert practitioner will advise on what’s best, and with subtle treatments even close friends often won’t be able to tell.
