Our Team

I Graduated from Welsh National School of medicine and dentistry in 1974. I set up the practice in 1976, converting a TV showroom into a single surgery practice which has grown over the past 48 years into a 6 surgery air conditioned practice with 16,000 active patients. The practice is disabled friendly being a single story building with easy access for wheelchair users.

We specialise in all aspects of general dentistry including children’s treatment for all ages, crown and bridge work, Composite bonding, veneers and denture work.

Over my time in general practice I have attended numerous post graduate courses to include SAAD anaesthetics and facial aesthetics training courses with Dr Bob Khana at his training institute in Reading. Most recently I attended a 3 day Invisalign course in London.

My leisure activities include golf, fishing and tennis.

Esther is a dedicated dental hygienist at Barrie David Dental, having qualified with a diploma in 2007 from Cardiff University, achieving a merit. With over a decade of experience, she is passionate about providing excellent oral care and ensuring patients feel comfortable during their visits.

Outside of work, Esther enjoys walking her dogs and spending quality time with her daughter, balancing her professional expertise with a fulfilling personal life.

Sharon Evans has been a member of the team since 1999. She is a registered dental nurse and also enjoys working on reception.

In her spare time she enjoys going on cruises and reading.

Alix Davies joined the team November 2022. She enjoys her role as a receptionist and enjoys getting to know the patients and being a part of the team.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and taking her little boy on adventures.

Rhian first joined the team in 2005. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2010, since then she has gained her fluoride application and radiography qualifications.

In her spare time she enjoys baking and spending quality time with her ever growing family.
